AI-based risk detection and recommendation platform will support coaching and physio teams in athlete performance management
PALO ALTO, CA., December 23, 2021 – Zone7, the AI-driven human performance platform, and Los Angeles FC (“LAFC”) have today announced a strategic partnership that will see the leading Major League Soccer team adopt Zone7’s injury risk solution within its coaching and medical departments.

The Western Conference club, which was recently named the most valuable team in MLS by Sportico, will enlist Zone7 to analyze its comprehensive collection of player data, identify undetected risk patterns, and provide practical intervention suggestions to optimize athlete performance and lower injury incident rates. LAFC already tracks an extensive array of information including in-game and training positioning, as well as biometric, strength, sleep, and stress metrics.
